Our goal is to make all of our collected materials available online for study by scholars around the world, for today and the future. To do that, we need financial help in three very important areas.

  1. We have to keep our field historians out on the road, colleting the oral histories and physical materials that comprise the archive.
  2. Once the materials come in, we need funding to hire student assistants to help process those materials (which has the additional benefit of providing qualified students with on-campus, learning-based employment in a research environment.)
  3. We need equipment to aid in both acquisition and processing- things like voice and video recorders, lap-top computers and scanners.

Even small amounts of money can be a big help. To join with us in this important work, please visit where you can make a convenient, secure contribution by simply clicking “give online” and searching for "Crossroads" in the A-Z Fund Index.
